Apoorv Puranik

Carbon Finance Intern

Apoorv is a finance professional with experience across capital markets and climate finance. He is currently pursuing a Master's in International Finance at HEC Paris, specialising in Capital Markets, with a thesis exploring how regulatory changes influence carbon price dynamics and market behaviour in EU carbon markets. Prior to joining CarbonFarm, Apoorv worked in risk and finance roles at ICBC and UBS, where he gained experience in financial modelling and portfolio risk analysis. A longstanding passion for nature drew him toward applying his financial background to more meaningful work, ultimately leading him to climate finance. Outside of work, Apoorv is an avid wildlife enthusiast and enjoys long-distance running.
